History

Once you taste the fruit of education nothing can stop you from having it throughout the life. Some college students realised the essence of education in the village of Benali. This realisation gave birth to the thought of establishing a school in their village for the sake of their soulmates - the residents of Benali and the adjacent villages in 1969. Mondal Trust of Benali came forward with their land. The colliery owner Seth Sukhlal Karnani extended his helping hand with pecuniary promise. As a result of the movement, under the leadership of Mr Amarendanath Mondal, Mr Paresh Mukherjee , Mr Dilip Chatterjee ,Mr Santosh Chattaraj ,Mr Dilip Mondal ,Mr Asit Mondal, Mr Patit Paban Ghanti, Mr Durga Das Mondal ,Mr Sahadev Ghanti, Mr Sudhakar Chakraborty,Mr Ukil Kaji and many well-wishers, our school started its journey as 2 class Junior High School on 8th January in 1970 (V & VI). Then its gradual upgradation continued.  ln 2000, the school received the recognition as High School. In 2013 our school had been upgraded to Higher Secondary one. The school was founded by the dextrous hand and that dexterity still continues. Benali Sri C.K.C.T. High school is now the talk of the Asansol Municipal Corporation area. It has become a venue for Madhyamik Pariksha and has been conducting it successfully. Besides these, we became zonal champion in 'Kho - Kho' & 'Youth Parliament Competition’. The most glorious achievement for our school is that we have celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2020. Education pervades the purview of the region of Benali ,Jadudanga, Mondalpur and adjacent villages due to that dream which is now a sweet reality.
