
A monk came at Bogra in 1950.He felt a crying need of a school in the locality. Later Sri Gobindahari Chakraborty and Sri Haripada Sengupta took initiative to fulfill the dream of the monk. Thus the school established in 1951 on 25th January. Initially the classes started in a primary school. Later a small building was constructed. 2 class and 4 class junior high school started in 1955 and 1958 respectively. In the year 1965 the school got recognition under W.B.B.S.E. By this time new building was constructed by Shethia Trust and the land was donated by Madanmohan Mondol of Bogra and Kumar PN Malia of Searsole Raj estate. In due course, Shethia company, the owner of coal mining, came forward to construct a new block of six rooms.
In the year 2009 the school got recognition of HS section with science and arts under WBCHSE having a sanction of three HS teachers. In 2008.A block of 4 rooms was constructed for HS section in the first floor of the old building with the financial assistance of Jamuria Municipality, SSA and Haripada Sengupta, ex teacher. Now it has become an eminent educational institution in this coal belt.
