History

As there was no school at Bogra village the children of the village used to go the school walking across the Grant Trank Road. The villagers found it very risky for their children. So the villagers urgently needed a primary school in the village. Within few days the villagers assebled and discussed about the establishment of primary school at Bogra village. After the meeting, they selected a land situated at west side of the Shiv Mandir for the establishment of the school. The owner of the land was Mr. Shaktipada Chatterjee of Chapui village. Some of the members of the 'School Establishment Committee'  went to Chapui village and met the owner, an eminent person. He gladly agreed to donate the land after hearing the proposal of the Committee members.

Within a week the registration of the land was made and a copy of deed was sent to D.I. of Schools, Burdwan for permission and recognition.
