History

The school was started as a Makhtab by some education interested person of the locality in the year 1950. It was housed in a very small space where urdu & arabic was taught .

There was no any urdu medium school at primary and secondary level so after few years the same Makhtab was transformed into a formal school and was run by few education interested person of the locality where Maulana Kamal Ahmad the founder of the Makhtab & Md. Umar Alam Ansari dedicated their services for imparting education among the kids of the school by a meagre school fees. Mr. Sallahudeen & his education interested friends helped financially for the smooth running of the school & approached to the Government of West Bengal for the recognition of the school. After their untired efforts the Government of West Bengal recognised the school on 1st August 1973 & Md. Umar Alam Ansari was appointed as the recognised teacher of the school who retired from service in the year 2004. In so many years the school has been running with developed & spacious & sufficient class rooms with sufficient number of teachers. As there is no any secondary school of Urdu medium in the surrounding area of the existing school named Barakar Muslim FP School and most of the students have to drop their studies after completing the education at primary level. Hence an effort was started by the existing head teacher Md. Nasim Ansari , Assistant teachers of the school and some education interested person of the locality and upper primary school named Barakar Muslim UP School was started in the year 2012 & since then the students are getting education at upper primary levels from the school situated in the campus of the primary school but the problem still remains as the students after passing class VIII from Barakar Muslim UP school have to take admission at secondary school which are 5km away from the existing school. As a result most of the student with the difficulties of transportation and conveyance drop their studies. The said upper primary school needs immediate upgradation upto class 10 to save the educational structure & the life of the students.
