History

Sripur F.P School was established on 1955. Back then, the school was single storeyed. The old ruined school building had fallen on March 2007, when the classes were going on. After that, the school was reconstructed by "Sarva Shiksha Mission" . Four classroom and toilets were constructed by "Sarva Shiksha Mission". The school was inaugrated on 18th Sep, 2008 by the Chairman of DPSC, Burdwan. Then a big hall room was constructed at 2nd floor of the school by MP Lad. 

In 2012 Mid-day-meal started. An education interested person donated his land for construction of kitchen set of Mid-day-meal of Sripur F.P School and on 2014 the kitchen shed of Mid-day-meal was constructed.
