History

The Raniganj Sri Durga Vidyalaya(H.S) started running on and from 1961 under Durga Sewa Samiti, Kharsuli Bazar under the members 1) Prahlad Rai Todi 2) Badri Prasad Khandelwal 3) Yogendra Prasad Sinha. The founder Headmaster was Sri Kedar Nath Sahu and Secretary Late. Yogendra Prasad Sinha. The school was recognised and got permission from the Education Department, Government of W.B by the under of above HM and Secretary in 1964 for classes (V to VIII) and in 1-1-1966 for classes (IX-X). The school is functiong the H.S classes and got permission under the supervision of present H.M Sri Susanta Kumar Roy and Secretary Sri Goutam Ghatak in 2002.The management of that school benevolevtly spared their old building for the benefit of Hindi medium students. There was only one Hindi Medium school in Raniganj. There are more than Twelve hundred students in each academic year. At present time it is running with 16 well qualified permanent teachers, 2 Para teachers, Clerk and Peon also in own three storied building till now. School is running with MDM very good items among the students. The students of this school  are good behavioer and academic performance in Raniganj. The function of the M.C, H.M, Teachers and Non-teaching staff are very well in this school and dedicated to the benefit and flourishing the students benefit. The school produces many doctors , engineers, top burecrates and top most officers.
