History

Taking a leaf out of the inception and formation of an educational institute which now stands recognized , approved and sponsored by the govt. of WB , the sequel of linear  development of the school can safely be traced to the year 1902 when the very idea of founding of this school took a tangible shape and that ultimately saw its establishment in 1912  and such committed effort found its consistent culmination when secondary building of this school was established in 1953 and the relevant further details in terms of recognition and approval stage-wise of which find mention in the short take by HM's desk . The history of the development of the  school has really been illustrious and elevation both in body and spirit of imparting education to an envious   batch and battery of alumni defining their presence in different walks of life . Even through the hard times and undesirable change in social and educational aspirations , the school has tasted the bitter part of its journey with undying and unbeatable spirit of survival even to date only to date with the gauntlet thrown in for govt.run school , for this school still holds that desirable sway over the local and off the local aspirants to beeline for admission and be the part of it while most of us standing witness to a virtual draught . So we strive for the pragmatically best to happen .
