With Continuous increase in number of Hindi medium students in the locality, need of setting up a new School was felt. Many Social Worker, Politician and education loving people came forward and took initiative. An Organizing Committee headed by Kishanlal Bansal was formed with the members Shyamalendu Bose, Anand Thakur, Saibal Kumar Bhattacharjee, Ram Prakash Ray, Tilal Chhetri, Chaitan Munda to reach the goal. Thus, Banarhat Balka Parimal Hindi Jr High School was set up in 1986 at Banarhat in memory of great Social Worker and Politician Parimal Mitra and Balka Oraon.
