Overview
The Matalhat High School was established in the Coochbehar Maharaja Dynasty as Matalhat State ME School. The then Headmaster Sri Dhrirendra Mohan Niogi took charge on 1st April 1946. After 1954 under the charge of the then Headmaster Sri Sailendra Narayan Niogi the Matalhat State ME School was converted to Matalhat Basic School and then it was upgraded to Matalhat Junior High Schoo
