The school established on 1960 as M.E. school in the period of Cooch Behar Maharaja. It is upgradated 'X' class co-educational High School in the year 2001, under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education govt. of West Bengal. It is situated near Bangladesh Border in the district of Cooch Behar under Tufanganj No. 1 circle.
