Kaliya Memorial Special Cadre Primary School was opened in December 1957 in Uchalpukuri area. It is an unpaid educational center under the Government of West Bengal. Currently there are classes i to iv.The school is located just off Kalirhat Junction. More or less 200 students study in this primary school.
