Overview
On 5th August, 1909 the Deputy Inspector, Jagadish Chandra Sen inspected the institute for the first time. Then in 1918, Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Bhupbahadur, the king of Coochbehar laid the foundation for the institute in the name of his daughter Ila Devi.
