                Durgapur High School is a renowned educational institution in the locality and as a Head Master I am proud to being a part of this institution . The infrastructural developement of this institution was happened gradually over the years by the help of the various schemes of Govt. of West Bengal though a lot of work yet to be done . The students can now get the facility of computer based learning in our school . Various cultural programmes are organised by our students in school's auditorium hall . Though the students of our school mainly first generation learners , the result in M.P examination is praiseworthy . Besides learning our students are doing excellent job in other co-curricular activities . We have ranked numerous times in district level Youth Science Fair in recent years and got opportunity to compete in state level . The educational and social developement of the students are given maximum priority . The highly qualified and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff of this institution always strive hard for betterment of our beloved students and developement of this institution so that our students can get ample opportunity to grow up as global citizen .
