Some months ago I joined the school as a Headmaster. I am well-versed with the proverb – Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. To wear that crown I was obsessed with the confusion whether I will be able to retain the dignity of the chair which has been glorified by so many eminent personalities throughout a span of more than hundred years. However I accepted the challenge. Now I can not but say that I am really over satisfied with my job here. My colleagues are truly very sincere and helpful. They wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to the best interest of the school.

Saktipur K.M.C Institution that had already observed its centenary celebration some years ago can really boast of its rich heritage. So many ex-students of the school are well established in the country and abroad. Stretching over a large area the school consists of adequate class rooms, library, a number of laboratories, multigym, play ground, large water body, workshops etc. Mid-day meal system carefully runs here. Parents' meetings are regularly held with a satisfactory attendance of the parents. Parents freely interact with the teachers in the meetings and their suggestions are thankfully accepted. Students regularly visit the library which is well furnished to cater to their need. Games are regularly held. Some students have displayed remarkable performance in some events in the district even in the state level. A cultural atmosphere prevails here. The entire campus is furnished with the famous messages of the great persons. Cultural programmes are frequently held in the school. Students spontaneously participate in those programmes. Some students have performed very well in the competitive cultural programmes held in the block level as well as in the district level. A literary magazine (Alok Vortika) is regularly published containing self-composed poems, short stories, essays etc of the students. Educational excursions are regularly arranged. All the govt. projects that have been launched for the benefits of the students are duly implemented here. Birthdays of the great persons, red letter days in the country are duly observed in a befitting manner. Science Seminar is also held. Recently some students of Vocational stream have glorified the school with their stupendous achievement of ranking among the top ten in the state. Only in this school in the entire block (Beldanga-II) students avail the opportunity of pursuing N.C.C training. After successful completion of training here a number of students have secured suitable job. The school has ample scope for its infrastructural development. We'll leave no stone unturned to take the school to the culminating point of glorification. We believe in the famous message –
