This school has been playing a pivotal role in spreading education in the locality since 1949.It aims at enrolmrnt of all students of the locality which consists of Manindranagar Gram Panchayat & Cossimbazar (Berhampore Municipality) retention of the enrolled students inspite of poor socio-economic condition of the people,a majority of whom belong to BPL category.This school is prone to promote education and to inculcate moral values of the learners with the co-operation of the guardians .It started HS Section with Humanities" from 1984 and Science subjects were introduced from 2006.Sincerity and cordiality of the teachers of the school is the key to satisfactory result of the school.Students participation in games & sports, cultural competitions at different levels in the district, social activities etc is a matter of pride .Due to vacancy of as many as 10 Astt.Teachers and the Asstt.Headmaster ,our school has confronted challenges & struggles for past few years for all round development of our learners.However,education is the "be all and end all" to us and we strive our best to achieve our goal.Thank you.
