“Every girl, no matter where she lives, no matter what her circumstance, has a right to learn. Every leader, no matter, who he or she is or the resource available to him or her, has a duty to fulfill and protect this right”
♦Malala Yousafzai♦
Being the Headmistress of this prestigious Institution I feel proud to be the successor of honourable Headmistress late Shamsun Nahar who was a National awardee in 1989.I want to dignify all the efforts of Mr.Lalit Mohon Dutta who founded this school in 1962,and embedded the path of success and prosperity ,which,I hope ,will be carried on successively afterwards.
In the 21st Century education liberates women from the shackles of ignorance, privation and misery. It must also lead to a non-violent and non-exploitative social system. An educated female population increases a country’s productivity and fuels economic growth. School curriculam, therefore, has to aim at enabling learners to acquire knowledge and wisdom to understand and inculcate skills ,positive attitudes ,values and habits conducive to the alround development of their personality.
The chances of getting a quality education are even inconsiderable if the girls come from poor families, live in rural areas. To eradicate such a social disparity ,State Government has implemented “KANYASHREE”.The project “KANYASHREE”has achieved a great success in the field of girls’education. The Girls should be inspired and encouraged so that they can empower themselves and claim their rights.
Our vision is to produce a healthy and secured environment in the school where the girls ►►can develop their special skills, creativities, capabilities and academic performances ►►can learn about self discipline, community participation and democratic values ►►can work independently and collaboratively ►►can make plans for future life.
Let’s help all to enhance their ownselves aesthetically, culturally, intellectually, morally, physically and spiritually.
