Kalitha High School starts its wonderful journey way back in 1967. The School has been carrying the memory of its glorious past for almost fifty years. This School is raised to the status of Secondary and Higher Secondary level in the year 2000 and 2013 respectively. Since then it has developed a lot and now,  in the Higher Secondary level , a vocational stream is also started along with the general arts stream. Many successful students have achieved their cherished-dream and established themselves well in their own fields after getting lessons from Kalitha High School. A part from learning the students are also skilled in sports, literature, and cultural aspects and they effectively take part in different cultural programmes like Independence Day celebration, Republic Day celebration, Teachers' Day celebration etc and these programmes are held in a dignified manner here. The School acts as a flare to enlight the life of the students of Kalitha Gram Panchayet area.
