Radharani  Narisiksha Mandir was established in the year 1934 for expansion of female education with the help from  some prominent echelons of the society at Santipur. Initially , its morning session only used to take place temporarily in different schools till its own building took shape in the year 1950 with the donation of land from a kind hearted man Sri Hriday Kundu , the name of the school Radharani was given in the name of his late mother. I , Jhuma Mukhopadhyay Sen has been in the School since the year 2006 as the Headmistress of the School and has been associated with all sorts of happiness and sorrows of its platform and still proceeding ahead for the last 14 years along with my beloved students and teachers.

The Role strength of the students equals almost to 2,200.The School  attained status of ‘Higher Secondary’ in 2000 and got State’s sponsorship in 2013 It is never felt  an easy assignment to control, manage and execute in-time fruitful action in the hierarchy of the school but task has been greatly possible due to mixed contributions from teachers, education staff and members of the School management committee and support from the students.

Presently, percentage of  the pass out students in the Secondary level is 97 and that in the Higher Secondary level is 94.Rules,regulations,laws etc. in whatever matter are strictly complied with that of the West Bengal Government’s directives. The Annual programme of the School is communicated to all students at the beginning of the year and as per the curriculum teaching classes, sports, functions etc. take place in a very well arranged manner.  School Management Committee duly takes care of the School administration. The project works like Kanyasree, Sikshasree, Oaikyasree and also midday meal program etc. are well maintained in the school periphery with the good office of the staff. Every year annual sports in winter, Swaraswati puja and annual school function etc. are organised as per usual norms .Even our students take part in different outdoor competitions like debate, dance, science exhibitions etc. and exihibit  remarkable outcome. We could reach out to all such activities whether curricular or extracurricular with success because of our strong determination, endeavour and zeal in spite of scarcity in staff in some sector and meeting unfavourable situation sometimes.

Due to pandemic worldwide, class taking is shut down totally from March end of  this  year. But teaching  continues  online to  the  students or suggestions or

exercises are passed to the students through Whatts App of mobile. Also this situation could not prevent us in organising meticulously Midday meal every month in compliance of circular from the State government. Other circulars from the government are also being followed during this pandemic. We hope vehemently that we could win over this miserable situation of the pandemic in days to come as several vaccines are in the lime light to come out and therefore wish to my all students to be engaged in home study during all these days and exchange words through available online media with your teachers for suggestion or study materials. I cherish for a successful innings during and  after the  pandemic for all my students.
