Krishna Bhabini Nari Siksha Mandir was the first English Medium Girls’ High School of Presidency Division and established on 1926 by Desashri Harihar Sett, maker of Modern Chandernagore. It was inaugurated with auspicious presence of Sarala Devi Chowdhurani, niece of Rabindranath Tagore and the then Chief Justice of Chandernagore under French Government.
In different times, the great Poet Rabindranath Tagore, Pratima Devi, Kamini Roy, Jadunath Sarkar, Kumudini Basu and others came to visit this school to inspire Girls’ Education
We, the teachers try to inspire our students both for curricular study and extra and co curricular activities.
All staff of our Institution works with positive attitude and keeping patience and believe in team work.
