This Institution was established in the year 1964 and got first affiliation in 01/01/1969 for upper primary section i.e class V to VIII and upgraded to Madhyamik in the year 01/01/1982 then after long time in the year 2000-2001 this institution upgraded to Higher Secondary with the affiliation from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Then this institution got affiliation from West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training.

                This institution was named by a renowned play writer Sri Kshirode Prasad Vidyabinod, the writer of ‘Alibaba and Challish Chor’. By profession he was a famous professor of Chemistry.
