Garh Raipur High School is a govt. sponsored higher secondary school recognised by the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal. The school is located at Raipur in the district of Bankura.
Established in the year 1937, the school is recognised by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education vide with the Board Code U-31 & West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education vide with the Council Code 14030. The school is under the aegis of SIS,Raipur Circle,Raipur, Bankura.
The Higher Secondary section has Science and Arts streams based on co-education system. To be precise, the school plays a pivotal role in spreading education among the natives of Jangalmahal with outstanding results for years in succession.
