FROM HEADMISTRESS’ DESK
First of all, as the Headmistress cum Secretary of the School, I thank the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, for their endeavour and technological assistance in bringing up the website of our school.
According to Mahatma Gandhi “Education means nothing but bringing out the best from the child”. In order to achieve such goal, utmost cares are taken for effective, affectionate, faithful and cooperative coordination between the students, teachers, guardians, the school committee, local administration and the School Education Department. Many of our students are first generation learners from economically backward families including some specially-abled students. All the teaching and non-teaching staff try their best to maintain a joyful and attractive atmosphere that helps the method of teaching and inspire the students to fulfil their dreams in different fields.
The guardians are motivated to encourage their wards to become financially independent citizen, because no one can deny the fact that the financial independence of women is one of the strongest ways to eliminate oppression on them prevailing in the society. Women empowerment is now the call of the society. School Authority organises Class-wise Guardians’ Meeting twice a year enabling interaction between the Guardians and the Teachers so that the triangular relationship between Teachers-Students-Guardians is firmly built up and all of them become aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the concerned students.
Besides regular academics, our students excel in various disciplines like Yoga, Games & Sports, Music, Dancing, Drawing etc. The Managing Committee, the Samagra Siksha Mission, the school Education Department and the Local Administration extend their helping hands in fulfilling the dreams of the students.
I always receive active and cordial cooperation from all my colleagues. This helps me to run the day-to-day activities smoothly and effectively. All of us are striving together to improve the institution so that it becomes an important seat of learning, especially for the girls of the locality. We expect our students to excel in their future lives, become responsible citizens and above all, achieve all qualities of humanity.
