I take this opportunity to reach out to each one of you through our school website.Before I express my feelings,I would like to thank our higher authority for accompanying us at all times in our need.
Our vision is of achieving academic excellence of building uncompromising human values,a sensitive social conscience and an abiding commitment to improve the quality of life in the society.Our mission is to educate women capable of responding to the needs of the society,learning not for grades but for knowledge and wisdom upholding values in the midst of squator,corruption, opposition and above all human loneliness……This dream is nurtured always in the eyes of our parents and we are just trying to fulfill it.
True education must ensure to improve the lives of others and leave the community and the world better than how we found it.At Janata Adarsh Vidyalaya For Girls’ we equip our students not only with intellectual skills but also with a set of attitudes imbued with social,moral and spiritual values.These values will help to withstand later in life the pressure of communalism,poverty and exploitative structure to help build a humane society.Education should include more than the ability to learn facts and write in examinations.Our present education system is moulding children into robots and less into sensitive beings.We needto emphasize more on a spiritual awareness which will help us to take control of our troubled nerves,have peace of mind and quietness of heart.
Our school is situated in a very conjested locality without having the infrastructures for the all round development of a child. Inspite of this innovation has been the watch word. The world is heading towards globalization. We are trying our best with the help of the higher authority concerned to provide the necessary facilities from our end i.e. regular MDM, uniforms,textbooks, exercise books,bags etc.
Our flourishing students have proved their excellence in interschool competitions organized by SSA, RMSA, Eco Club, Howrah Youth Forum etc. in the field of dance, art, dramatics and in science models and quiz competition also.
I, thankyou dear parents for all your support during the academic year. I thank the teaching, non-teaching staff and helpers for their hardwork, cooperation and dediction towards the smooth functioning of the school.
I would like to conclude with a message to our girls:
