Keshub Academy was established in 1886 by Sri Prasanna Kumar Sen , a follower of Brahmananda Keshub Chandra Sen.It was then managed by the Vidhan Educational Society , a wing of the then Brahmo Samaj. Initially it was an ideal Brahmo School with Brahmo culture and principles.But later on it lost its connection with Brahmo Samaj as well as Brahmo culture.
