It offers you an opportunity to know that in today’s scenario when the Govt. and Govt. aided Schools of Kolkata are finding it difficult to run their classes because of the low number of students,here is an Institution where we are finding it difficult to accommodate the vast number of students who desire to study in our school because of the excellent facilities and the good reputation that we have been able to build.
Our Institution was established for emancipation of the girls residing in Central Kolkata, through the spread of modern education amongst them.Presently we have a dedicated team of teachers who are fully aware of this basic objective and the responsibility they carry even in today’s age (when the women are breaking all glass ceilings in every sphere of life) as we are catering to the educational need of the girls coming from that segment of the society which is deprived of many facilities of the modern world and may be even deprived of two square meals every day. We have a firm belief that their financial deprivation can be overcome only through honing their inherent talent and skill by imparting proper and holistic education. Hence we put our best efforts to kindle the spark in our students and encourage them to feel confident to face the competition of the external world and establish themselves as a productive citizen of the country.
It is a proud privilege for us that year after year the school has not only shown improved pass percentages but our students have excelled in various extra- curricular activities like Debate and Quiz Competitions, Science Exhibitions, Mock Parliament sessions.
