Jawaharlal Nehru Balika Vidyapith is a Govt. Sponsored Girls High School located in Kidderpore area. It was established here with an aim to provide quality education to the students of nearby areas. They had to travel to a long distance to attend schooling. To cut their hardship the school was established here in 1984.

From 1984 to September 2019, the school was headed by Teachers-in-Charge. The first Headmistress of the school joined in Sep 2019. After joining she made imparting quality education to the students as her first priority. Students study in a stress free atmosphere. She was very well supported by all the staff members and guardians in this task.
