The Behala Kishore Bharati Girls' High School was inaugurated on 17th February 1954 and in 1960 the first primary department got Government approval. Secondary approval in 1965 at a later time. At present, Behala Kishore Bharati Girls' High School has changed from a Govt. Aided School to a Govt. Sponsored School.
