Boral High School has carved a niche for itself as one of the most leading educational institutions in the region that falls under the purview of Rajpur-Sonarpur Municipality and adjoining Kolkata municipal areas. The school that once came into existence at the ancestral home of Rishi Rajnarayan Basu, a writer and intellectual of Bengal Renaissance with a limited number of pupils, blossomed into higher secondary school in 1976 offering a vast array of subjects under Humanities, Science and Commerce streams. Our goal is to encourage holistic education, rooted in indigenous tradition and culture. In a bid to do away with rote learning, our teachers endeavour to develop an environment that promotes growth ; kindles creativity, imagination and discovery within the pupils. Thus, we hope to continue as a major force to be reckoned with and will leave no stone unturned to produce future citizens of the country.
