Welcome to Parbatipur Patitpabani High School (HS) website!

Parbatipur Patitpabani High School started its auspicious journey in the late eighteen century in the neighborhood of the Sutahata block. Finally, the school got its recognition in the year 1910. It is a great honour to be a part of this glorious 110 years old educational institution.

I feel myself immensely proud as well as lucky to be the successor of so many great personalities who served here as head of the institution or as teachers. They were my mentors rather than teachers. Moreover, it is great to think that once I was a student of this institution and a member of the founder's family of the school.

The school is, indeed, a School by the masses, of the masses, for the masses. Since its early days, the school has kept on producing a galaxy of doctors, engineers, academicians, sportsmen and artists. The school is located at the rural backward area and so most of the students of the school are far from modern education. Yet we are trying our level best to provide them with the light of modern education. So we have introduced computer education compulsory for all the students with minimal fees as a primary step towards modern education.

All of us who are associated with this temple of education in different capacities are united by the altruistic doctrine of humanism. As the helmsman of this Alma Mater, I feel myself blessed since all teaching and non-teaching and technical staff here are marked by their sincerity, readiness, and loyalty to any work provided. Students are consecrated with the principles of discipline and obedience. A teacher is successful only when his students outshine him. So, every year when our students perform excellently well in Madhyamik, Higher Secondary it fills my heart with joy unspeakable. I always remember Albert Einstein’s pedagogical theory that a teacher should not teach but provide conditions for students to learn. I motivate the teachers to strive to do so. Teachers here always inspire students toward co-curricular activities alongside classroom learning.

I wish the family of Parbatipur Patitpabani High School (HS) a glorious future ahead with the cumulative support of all concerned.
