Overview
Rahmania High School was establised by Moulvi Md Ajmal , a social worker in 1928 to promote education among the downtrodden and poor people of Asansol during British Rule. Initially it was a small madarsa. After independennce, Dr B C Roy the, then Chief Minister of West Bengal laid the foundation of new building on 17 th Dec1952.
