Overview
One of the oldest school in the area is Balanpur FP School.It was established in 1946. Lt Jitendranath Singh of Balanpur village donated the land.Most of the students belongs to schedule cast community.The school is situated in Balanpur village PO-Ikrah, ward no-07, Jamuria Borough under Asansol Municipal Corporation.
