School Management Committee (SMC) comprises mainly of parents.If fact,75% of the SMC members should be parents.In the other 25% ,1/3 should be form the elected members of the local authority,1/3 from amongst the teachers and 1/3 form amongst the local educatinists. But in present SMC doest not exsist.
