RULES OF THE SCHOOL DISCIPLINE
Discipline is a part and parcel for each and every student in the course of school education. So, Risheehat Higher Secondary School believes that discipline helps students to learn better and to develop the high character is needed in present day. Discipline can come only from co-operation between parents and staff. Parents and guardians are urged to co-operation the following points:
1) Students should behave well within and outside the school premises.
2) An act of indiscipline, disobedient to Class Monitors, Superiors, Captains and disrespect to any religion or community by any student shall not be tolerated. He/She may even be expelled from the school.
3) Students are strictly forbidden to smoke, chew tobaccos and gudka, use chemical substances drugs and alcohol. Any student including in the above will be immediately expelled from the school.
4) Students must be punctual to attend the morning Assembly and no student may leave the school.
5) Mobile phones and other expensive electronic goods are completely banned in the school compound. If found
carrying such items will be confiscated and will not be returned.
6) Students are expected to keep their classrooms and the school compound neat and clean. They should not damage the school property. A fine will be imposed in such cases. Writing and scribbling on the desk-bench and walls o the school is strictly prohibited.
7) Parents are expected to co-operate with the work of the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and taking general interest in the children’s progress. They should check the dairy regularly and note the teacher’s remarks. They are also requested to sign the student’s weekly test report.
8) The school diary must be brought to school every day. Homework must be done regularly failing to do so, the student will be detained for completing the same.
9) Students who do not willing to follow school rules and regulations or cause any serious disciplinary problem to show lack of respect or damage the reputation of the school are liable to be suspended / expelled with or without a prior notice.
10) Student must be present before and after the first day of long vacation failing which a fine Rs. 5/- per day shall be charged. Parents / Guardian should compulsorilycome to the school office to explain the reason of such absent.
Note : Summer Vacation, Dashera Holiday, Deepawali
Holiday, Winter Vacation etc.,
11) The school is not responsible for any student beforeand after school hours. (i.e. 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.)
12) A student failing twice in the same class will not be allowed to continue his studies at school.
13) Annual school fees must be remitted by April of every year at School Office.
ABSENTEES AND LATE ARRIVALS
1. Students must come to school regularly and must bepunctual.
2. Students must have 80% attendance at school to be eligible to sit for their annual examination.
3. Students name will strike out if any students remain absence for 15 days continuously without information to the school.
4. No students should be absent on a class day except in case if illness or any urgent matter. Due information must be sent to the school in case of prolonged illness. Parents ‘Guardians are expected to produce a medical certificate.
5. The school is not responsible for lesson, class work and homework missed by the students due to absence.
6. Student will be given a half holiday only with a prior personal request from the parents. Half holiday will be given only after the Lunch Break.
