Rules & Regulations
Introduction:
Rules and Regulations are important to guide acceptable behavior and ensure that the school environment is safe for students, teachers and school staff. Rules can be described as the guidelines of doing something correctly These are the principles that govern the conducts of a person in an organization. On the other hand, regulations refer to the directives or statute enforced by law, in a particular organization.
- Attendance in school is compulsory. Absence from school must be supported by a medical certificate.
- Parents need to apply for leave of absence for their child from the Headmaster to leave or absent themselves from school for urgent private matters. Permission to leave school early may be granted for special cases.
- Students must be punctual for school and must attend all school events.
- Students must attend all observation days like: 23rd January, 26th January, 15th August etc.
- Students are expected to be in school by 10:25 a.m for Daily Assembly.
- All students must sing the National Anthem with pride and respect.
- A respectful silence and orderliness must be maintained during all assemblies.
- Take good care of school properties and premises. Cost of replacement for vandalized items will be borne by student(s) responsible for the damage.
- Use of all forms of electronic gadgets ( Mobile phones ) is prohibited.
- Students must not to leave the classroom without permission by teachers.
- All students must be punctual for classes. Attendance will be taken before the start of first class every day.
- Keep the classroom clean and neat at all times.
- Consumption of food and soft drinks are strictly not allowed in the classroom.
- Students must wear the prescribed school uniform and any modification is strictly not allowed.
- Tapering of pants is strictly not allowed.
- Hair must be kept neat and tidy at all times.
- Fancy hair styling, dyeing & highlighting of hair are strictly not allowed for all students.
- Female students must be neat in appearance at all times. Long hair must be neatly tied up with simple ribbons, hair bands and/or hair clips.
- Nails must be kept small.
- Report about defective electrical equipments to the school's office, e.g. faulty fans, light, etc.
- Keep the classroom clean and neat at all times.
