Rules & Regulations
- Students must strictly follow the school attendance time :
Primary: 9:30 a.m.
Secondary: 9:45 a.m.
The main gate of the school closed at 10 a.m. Attendance after 9:45 a.m. will be considered late.
- Students must come to the school regularly.
Absence from school unless truly excusable and proved so, is strongly objected to. A request for leave of absence must be made in writing by the parents to the Headmistress.
- Medical certificate is required for absence of max than three days.
- Names of students failing to attend classes for more than a month will be struck off from the rolls.
- A medical certificate of fitness must be produced for an absence due to contagious or infectious disease. Under no circumstances should a student attend school before complete recovery.
- A student on leave is prohibited from meeting any teacher or submitting any academic work or participating in games and sports during school hours.
- Students coming to school during study leave must be in school uniform.
- Attending birthday parties, wedding ceremonies, private invitations etc are not considered as valid reasons for absence. No leave of absence is sanctioned without prior permission of Headmistress whose decision is final.
- Fixing doctor’s appointment during school hours must be avoided but proper documents must be provided if urgent.
- Students should follow their classes and prepare their lessons regularly.
- The procedure adopted by the school to maintain the same resemblance in uniform must be accepted and abided by.
- Students are not allowed to bring costly pen, watch or any other valuables. The school will not be responsible for the loss of such items. Students are solely responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings.
- Students are prohibited from wearing jewellery in school except small ear ring or stud. They cannot put on nail polish, mehendi, kajal, nose ring etc when they come to school.
- Students must use papers having school’s name and emblem for covering their books and exercise books.
- Students must refrain from bringing magazines, pamphlets, periodicals, photographs etc to school.
- Students must actively participate in all school activities.
- Students are warned not to damage any school property as they will have to pay for the damage.
- Guardians are not allowed to enter through the second gate when the school starts or gives over.
- Students must come to school neat and tidy and with hairs properly tied up.
- Once a student enters school, she will not be allowed to leave school premises except with valid reasons. A sick student must not come to school.
- Parents or guardians will have to remain satisfied with the limited resources the school can offer to a student who suddenly falls sick and the school cannot be blamed.
- Class teachers to be furnished with the details of contact person, phone numbers etc in case of emergency so that parents or guardians can immediately come to school when contacted.
- Information of a child attending her classes or information regarding holiday over telephone will not be entertained.
- If a student resorts to unfair means during examination then she will be expelled with a transfer certificate.
- Criteria and process of examination, evaluation and promotion will be decided by the school authority.
- The students are to address their teachers and all members of the staff with due respect and politeness. The school expects its students to conduct themselves in the manner which is consistent with the renowned tradition and heritage of the institution.
- Students should abide by the changes in school timing or any often changes for the smooth running of the school.
- The school follows 3 vacations
- Summer vacation ii. Puja vacation iii. Christmas vacation
- Cooperation from all is solicited for the welfare of the school.
- Misconduct of a student which may interfere with the educational work and academic atmosphere of the institution may result in expulsion of a student from school. The decision of the School Managing Committee is final in such case.
- The conduct or behaviour of parents or guardians which goes against the school may result in the expulsion of their wards and the decision of the Managing Committee in that case will be final. No excuse will be entertained.
- The school aims at holistic development of a student along with intellectual proficiency and disciplined upbringing. If conduct of a student or guardian comes in that way, adequate measures will be taken which may result in the expulsion of the student without giving chance for self justification.
- Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the school. If a student gets caught with mobile phone then the mobile phone will be confiscated.
