IMPORTANT RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. Students should be punctual to assembly and classes. No one who has been absent or late may be admitted to class without the signature of the Principal/Vice-Principal.
  2. Day Scholars/ Boarders who cannot return promptly after the holidays should inform the Principal/Vice-Principal in writing before the school resumes after the holidays. Else they will fined heavily or parents may be called to explain or will have their names struck off the rolls.
  3. PRIVATE TUITIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED. THEY SHOULD NOT IN ANY CASE BE ENCOURAGED. Parents must either approach the Principal if in case their son/daughter needs remedial classes / special help in certain subjects.
  4. STUDENTS IN ORDER TO BE PROMOTED MUST PASS IN ALL SUBJECTS WITH A MINIMUM OF 35% IN EACH SUBJECT. All Three Terminal Examination marks will be taken into consideration for final promotion, whereby a student must obtain 35% on average.
  5. Library books must be handled with utmost care.
  6. Visitors may meet the students only with the permission of the Principal/Vice-Principal.
  7. Good manners & politeness, both in speech & conduct is expected from everybody in the school.
  8. Date of birth once recorded at admission cannot be changed.
  9. After an illness a pupil must produce a doctors. Certificate stating that he/she is fit to join the school.
  10. All pupils are to come neatly dressed in the school uniform. Elaborate hairstyle are not permitted. Boys should have normal short haircut.
  11. Any damage to the school property must be made good by the pupil concerned.
  12. Anyone absent from school for one month or more in succession without previous permission from the school authorities will be considered having left the school.
  13. Any student falling short 85% of attendance during the year will not be promoted.
  14. The school calendar is subject to inspection any day by the Principal/Vice-Principal, Prefect of Discipline & Class Teacher.
  15. Bleaching hair, sporting large nails, using nail polish & eye-brow polish, gel & other substances to sport elaborate hairstyle is forbidden.
  16. No student is permitted to wear valuable ornaments like gold chain, gold finger rings and earrings in the school.
  17. Chewing gum, intake of pan masala of all kinds, smoking cigarettes and chewing tobacco is strictly prohibited inside or outside the school campus. If found, the student will be either suspended or expelled.
  18. Students involved in fights, drugs, alcohol and stealing will incur automatic expulsion. The same is applicable for those who run away from the school/hostel.
  19. A student cannot be readmitted once withdrawn from the school or hostel.
  20. Absentees for any test must give prior information to the Principal/Vice-Principal in writing. Otherwise the students will be awarded a zero for the test.
  21. Students are not permitted to join outside tournaments except through the school.
  22. No student will be allowed to sit for the final examination unless fees and other dues are paid.
  23. School diary & ID Card must be brought to the class everyday.
  24. Students should not leave the school premises during the breaks and other times (except for lunch break) without the written permission from the Principal or Vice-Principal.
  25. R.A. Students will be awarded zero with last warning for the first time only. Average will be taken of three exams. On repetition the culprit will be issued T.C. Immediately.
  26. Gadgets including mobile phones, walkmans, i-pods are not allowed inside the school campus, if found will be confiscated and Rs. 2000/- will be fined and the Gadgets will not be returned.
  27. The School campus and classrooms should be kept clean. Papers, chocolate wrappers should not be thrown here and there.
