Admissions

Primary Section

Students are admitted in Pre-Primary class. Any boy aged more than 4 years may apply by submitting the admission form. An admission notice is put up in the month of September. The admission forms are distributed and collected before the Puja vacation. As per Government rules, a lottery is conducted sometime in November. The selected candidates are admitted in December. Classes start on the first working day of January the next year. There are admissions to classes II, III and IV if there is a vacancy. After a notice is served, the candidates are required to apply with age-proof and mark-sheet of the last examination passed. A selection test is held. The successful candidates are duly admitted. All the government norms regarding reservations are strictly maintained.

Normal Section (Secondary)

The students from the Primary Section of the school are directly admitted to class V. There are admissions to classes VI, VII, VII and IX if there is a vacancy. After a notice is served, the candidates are required to apply with age-proof and mark-sheet of the last examination passed. A selection test is held. The successful candidates are duly admitted. All the government norms regarding reservations are strictly maintained.

Normal Section (Higher Secondary)

The admission procedure starts soon after the Madhyamik results are declared. The forms are distributed according to the requirements of each stream, namely Humanities, Commerce and Science. There are 65 students is each of the streams. Merit is the sole criterion for selection. However, government rules and regulations are applicable.
