Norms of Admission

Admission is taken to class V and to class XI. Admission to class VI to IX is considered only on very special ground; for class XII, permission of the District Inspector of Schools (SE) is essential.

As per system of government, the students promoted to class V from Bardhaman Bidyarthi Bhaban Primary Balika Vidyalaya, the school as runs within same premises, are admitted to class V directly. Thereafter students from outside schools are admitted through Open Lottery as per rule. A Notice regarding schedule of distribution & submission of Forms, date of Lottery is published on the notice board of school in last week of November or First week of December every year.

To class XI, students Passed out the Madhyamik Pariksha from the school are given opportunity first. The stream of science, of course , is opted  according to the marks obtained in Madhyamik Pariksha. While all the student can opt Arts beyond consideration of marks. Very few students of outside school are admitted considering their marks of MP. A Notice regarding the admission to class XI is published at afternoon of the day of publishing the result of Madhyamik Pariksha on school notice board.
