A birds eye view about my beloved school( Sonamui F. S. Nahar High School, Sonamui, Amta, Howrah)

 

Dipak kumar Majumdar, Alumnus and Ex. Asst. Teacher.

1.-- Panchanan Chatterjee. ( 1st. A. Headmaster) He was the son of soil, an eminent teacher in English subject. With his utmost effort the remote village where by and large people lived with below poverty line and uneducated, he, with the villagers set up this school. He is remembered in all time so far.

 

2.-- Rabindra Singh Nahar( family member of school founder)

Rabindra Singh Nahar, is one of the family member of Fateh Singh Nahar (Land doner and interested in Education) . In well and woe of school he leads and advice for the upliftment of school still now.

 

3. Sarder Mal Kankaria. ( Philanthropist, person interested in Education).

 

Sarder Mal ji, who lived in Kolkata , a benevolent and interested in Education as well as a reputed businessman once came in our school as a visitors, then he raised his hands by Rs. One lac for school building and Rs fifty thousand for ladies toilet (first time) . He is also attach our school in Jain book bank(free of cost supply to the student). He is remain with us.

 

4.-- Sisir kumar Koley(a scholar of this school).

Sisir kumar Koley, is an M. B. B. S, D. G. O. a reputed Doctor Who was a student of this school. He gives service to his villagers (poor) without any fees. In every health programme of school, he leads without any fail still now. His two brothers, Late Raj kumar Koley( chemist), and Deb kumar Koley(Engineer) were also students of this school. They all are well wisher of their school. The school also boast of them.

 

5.--Dipak kumar Majumdar(Alumnus and Ex. retired asst. Teacher of this school)

 

I am one of the fortunate person that there was a chance to allow me to read here as a student as well as to serve here as a teacher also. I have been served here as a teacher for more than 32 years . Needless to say my father Late Shorashi Pada Majumdar was also a reputed teacher who served here for more than 30 years. So most of my life spent here. Now I dedicate my rest life for the all round upliftment of the school what my Late father wished.
