Education is about learning skills and knowledge. It also means helping people to learn how to do things and support them to think about what they learn.

Situated at a rural area in the hills of Darjeeling, the students who attend our school are sons and daughters of the local villagers. As most their parents engage in farming, students are expected to help their parents out in the field when not at school. Leading to them giving less time to their studies.

We at Goke High School, help our students make the most of their time at school productive and educational. Our staffs and teachers actively take part in counselling parents and students, regarding the importance of education and giving time to it. We provide our students all benefits provided by the government.

In the past months, we have been providing our students with online classes, which is a massive challenge for us as well as the students. However, I believe that in the coming days normalcy will resume and students will gather together to study again.
