I am overwhelmed and filled with joy as I entered the port of Chenga Primary School. Chenga Primary School has a long history and it is my joy to continue the great tradition of this awesome, esteemed institution in Chenga Busty Mirik in the District of Darjeeling. When I was assigned as new Headmistress of this esteemed school, I glanced through the school and I felt very happy to see great people like Smt Susanbala Thapa who was the first Headmistress of the school. The school which was established in the year 1968 and was later recognised by the District School Board (DSB) Darjeeling in the year 1973. All the stalwarts up to now have given a lot for the growth of this school and our present correspondent has also given a new vision to this wondrous institution. The mission of the Chenga Primary School is to promote educational excellence, personal responsibility, and balanced growth". Thereby helping students discover and develop their talents to the best of their ability and surge ahead to greater height. With this view in mind, it is our pledge to make and remark the school constantly so that it may become the most sacred place for learning in the world so that it may draw and attract the best geniuses and talents of our society for the manifestation of their spirit. To run the school in such a way and to lead it to the best objectives set, cooperation and coordination of different people involved directly and indirectly ( parents and the VEC members) are necessary. Lastly, I would like to thank all for their support for the smooth functioning of this institution and hope for the same in future.
