Marybong High School was established in the year 1985 at the Marybong Tea Garden to educated the down pressed communities in such a remote area.During those days there was no any upper primary school near near the surrounding tea garden.Students used to walk far away or else drop from the middle of the school.After a constant and a tirelless effort in the year 1989, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education accorded recognition as a Junior High School upto class VIII. In the year 01-01-2012, the school was upgraded to High School by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

                               This venture was launched with an ever loving dedication in the field of education providing the children of the area as well as the surrounding Tea Garden  areas with the better educational facilities and a new wave of tecahing in the other spheres of extra curriculur too.  I anticipate sincierly that students learning in this school shall develop the personality, career & character taking maximum benefit of the facilities this school offer to them.

                          Marybong High School continues to champion the tremendous responsibility of fostering the all-round development of its stuents, effecitively making them adequately prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

                         The world as we know is changing even as we rapidly bringing forth the necessity of newer skill & expertise. We are committed to shape our students into leaders of tomorrow.  

                       It gives me great pleasure that Marybong High School , Darjeeling has achieved a great and good result in both academic & extra curricular activities in the last few years. This has been made possible due to the untiring effort and dedication of  the teaching faculty and suppporting staff.

                       I wish the entire fraternity of Marybong High School all the best as they look to take the school to futher heights in the coming year.
