The name of our school is " DEOTIBARI PETVATA CHANDANCHOWRA NO II PRIMARY SCHOOL". This school is situated in the Village Petvata Chandanchowra. In this village there is another primary school. So, the number of the students in our school is low. The famous "Torsa River" passes away near by the school. This river flood has destroyed and broke alot of cultivated land and many houses in 2011. These families scattered and habited of outside  the village. This  is another reason for low no of students. Another problem of the school is that the land of the school is not registered in the name of school or council. Only verbally the land is donated by the land donor  according to some conditions. If some government facilities come, then this facilities would be  given to his family. Later on, para teacher (likely contractual) post was created this school in 2007. But this donor family had not been availed this facility. Then they filled a case against school. The court gave an order  no any civil construction should be done in the school compound. Until the case be conciliated / settled. During the pendency of conciliation , the school will run as usual. The said donor could not closed the school. This is the main reason why we cannot develop the school.

Formerly , the school was an organising school. The school is availed govt. approval since 1973. That time the teacher and care taker Head Teacher was Sri Nishith Ranjan Gupta and late on he became Head Teacher of this school. Total land of the school is 7200 square feet. Two ACR buildings are there, separate toilet is there. No boundary wall, no MDM kitchen or Dining or Drinking water shed.

There are six classes in our school viz- PP, I, II, III, IV, V. At present there are four teaching staffs including myself i.e TIC and Para Teacher. There is deficiency of place in classrooms. But furnitures are available.
