" To strive,to find and not to yield"- Lord Alfred Tennyson.
Among all the Victorians, it is, perhaps, Lord Alfred Tennyson, evaluated human impulses aptly, not only of his own era but also it's temporal and corporal appeals. To "strive" relentlessly with an "indomitable" spirit and not to"yield" to the utmost adversity and thus making the most unfavourable favourable- this is the true essence of human instinct which led them to dominate over the universe. It is not the manipulation of physical prowess, it is only the excellence of intellectual elevation, and the will that can only differentiate even between a human " being" and human "thing". Truly and fairly Majiara High School is the materialization of the indomitable will of some of the true educationists in the post independence era.
Inspired by the noble vision of some of the revered and aspirant educationists of the locality Majiara High School has sailed its journey in 1966.
Long time has passed, our institution has sprung it's massive branches and exfoliated with the multicolored petals. Ornamented with the Higher Secondary Course which includes even the science stream coupled with well equipped laboratories and computer facilities for all and assisted by a host of skilled and scholarly councellors our institution aims to spring the lumens of education among the learners.
The identification and exfoliation of the innate and intrinsic potentialities of the learners, I think, should be the prime objective of any educational endeavour. As the Headmaster I do aspire our institution with all its educational and socio-cultural activities would assist our students to grow into confident, responsible and compassionate citizens.
Last but not the least I would like to to express my deep gratitude and felicitation to all of my esteemed colleagues and my I loving learners without whose active corporation, and innate involvement this excellence had never been achieved. Still it is not the time for saturation and satisfaction, rather it is the the time for introspection. Finally, I would like to recollect the preaching’s of Swami Vivekananda:
“Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.”
