Let us take this golden opportunity to express our pleasure and deep gratification to those of the aspirant educationists whose materialization of  their noble vision to spring lumens of education among the downtrodden, deprived and depressed people off the remote district Murshidabad peeped into you in the form of establishment of Majiara High school in 1966. With the majestic and lustrous mission to bestow every aspirant of the society with the blessings of true knowledge their visionary souls aptly felt the necessity of an educational institution here which is far away from the district town Berhampur and despite been very close to the district Birbhum it could not receive the light of development due to the politically justified reason, thus making it a remote and secluded place. In the post-independence era when several social hindrances had clutched and choked the physical and spiritual progress of the rural Indian society in the form of class distinction and others so on, which was more prominent and particular in this place as this place  is basically resided by the so called upper and lower and backward masses. Sailed its journey primarily as a Junior Basic School in 1966, it was recognised as a secondary school in 1982 and higher secondary school in 2013.

Enabling the students to realise and work to the fullness of their innate potency is at the core of any educational endeavor. Every student is individual talent and every student ought to be e encouraged and supported to their best. Thus, to fulfill, the demand of professional courses, our institution has introduced vocational courses in various streams like mechanical and electrical etc. To bridge the breach between the secondary education and the higher education our institution provides science courses in higher secondary level besides the basic arts streams.
