Nagari S B Sikshaniketan has been quite successful in creating a tradition of its own as a number of her students have become acclaimed professionals and intellectuals in their respective fields of work. Apart from academic excellence, the students and teachers equally display their commitment to society making contributions in their own way. The students hardly fail to become good citizens of the country. From the very beginning, the school authority has been taking special care to enroll students from backward and tribal communities. The school, therefore, has two hostels, one each for boys and girls, which are funded by the Ministry of Backward Class Welfare, Govt of West Bengal to provide education and accommodation to SC and ST students free of cost. Thanks to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, the school boasts a young, sincere and enthusiastic group of teachers, who are dedicated to the overall upliftment of students and help the school keep its flag flying high.
