Our school was established in 2009 and is located in a rural area. There was no regular teacher at that time. Biswajit Nag and I have joined in 2011 as permanent teacher. Student enrolment was 51 then. Now we have three regular teachers including me at our institution. It is good to mention here that all the students of our school are belong to ST and their mother tongue is Santali. As our institution is in Bengali medium, we face trouble while communicating with our students. They can not speak in Bengali language well, they often do not understand our words. Despite such adversity, we are trying our best to teach. As teachers we always try to understand them and their culture. We are also committed to help all our students become responsible members of the community by creating a learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of pupils. We encourage parents and guardians of our students to take an active role in their child’s education because Education helps us become better versions of ourselves.
