To provide free and compulsory education for the children in the age group of six to fourteen years as a fundamental right our school opened its doors on 23.04.2010 with an enrolment of 51 students from Battala, Simuljuri and Kantapahari villages. The institution was established in 2009 and recognised by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. In 2010 when journey started respected retired teacher Md. Enamul Hoque appointed as guest teacher as well as Teacher In Charge of this institution. All the students are belongs to ST and they are first learner. In 2011, two regular teachers; Biswajit Nag and Pompa Das has joined this school and Biswajit Nag has appointed as Teacher In Charge by the Ad-hoc committee. In 2012, Mid Day Meal programme has been started to provide nutritious food to the students.
