Dubrajpur RBSD High School was one of the 13 educational institutions in Birbhum that illuminated the people when education opportunities were very limited in pre-independence India. However, the name of Dubrajpur RBSD High School was not mentioned then. 
Dubrajpur English School was built on the land given by the kings of Hetampur in 1885, later a hostel was set up there, in 1928 it was connected to the aforesaid English school at Lalbazar Primary English School in Dubrajpur and High English School was established and later recognized by Calcutta University.The school building was built on the land donated by Rai Bahadur Shedmull Dalmia, a great businessman and education thirsty person. Many of the students of this school participated in the "Quit India Movement" and were imprisoned and later received pension, so the name of this school is inextricably linked with the glorious history of independence.At present Dubrajpur RBSD High school is a standard educational institution offering the high quality learning on science, arts and vocational stream.The dedication, sincerity and effort of all our teaching staff are adding up with quality of teaching, sports and culture of this school is one of the finest among all.Let us all help our future nation builders in their endeavours.
