From Headmaster’s Desk:

As the Headmaster it is an admirable fact to me that Shibpur Janakalyan Sangha High School (H.S), though located in a remote location of Nadia, has gained a reputation for nurturing the young buds to full bloomed flowers in all aspect of their lives. I am thankful to the teaching & non-teaching staff, M.C. members and parents also. Here exists a very good relation among the students, teachers and parents. Dedicated teachers always impart their lessons with a joyful ambience with great care. They are playing a great role to develop awareness in connection with health, hygiene, sanitation and environment related matters.  They are playing a significant role to reduce child marriage, gender biasness and school dropout children. Here Special emphasis is given on value-based learning and character building so that the students will become good citizens in the future. Our goal is to provide quality education to our students in a secure, healthy environment with human understanding that will enable them to face all sorts of challenges in their life.  We believe that regular communication between teachers and parents is very important for the welfare of the students as school is their ‘Second Home’. So, I encourage parents or guardians to communicate with the teachers on a regular basis. Percentage of pass out students in Madhyamik and H.S. Examination is nearly 100% throughout several decades in our institution.  The school has kept its imprint in the field of sports and culture also from the beginning of its journey.  We work closely with our pupils to ensure that every student receives comprehensive guidance.  I express my gratitude to the Government as well as Samagra Shiksha Mission also. To provide mid-day meals to our students (Class- V-VIII) is an integral part of our school education. Nutritious and healthy food is served to the students in a hygienic manner on a regular basis under the supervision of teachers. Various student welfare schemes of the Government like SHIKSHASHREE, KANYASHREE, SABOOJSATHI, AIKYASHREE, PRE & POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP, National Means cum Merit Scholarship, Inspire Award of Govt. of India, Free distribution of textbooks, school bags, iron tablets, issue of caste certificates etc. are implemented accordingly with the active participation of the teaching and non-teaching employees of this institution. All these measures   help and inspire our students to continue their studies in a significant manner.  Recently   Information and Communication Technology (ICT) project has been implemented in our school which ensures computer-based learning with internet connection. Very recently our school has been awarded with NIRMAL VIDYALAYA PURASKAR – 2018.  For this all credit are to be given to my beloved students and dedicated teachers whose constant effort made it possible to achieve such prestigious award. This year our senior football team became Champion at Sub-divisional level. All credit is to be given to the boys and their game teacher along with his support staff.  Lastly, I convey my heartfelt gratitude to both the people of the locality and our erudite teachers for their constant endeavor to turn this school to one of the best traditional institutions in Nadia.
